Southam was basking in the sunshine by the time our exhibitors arrived at our midsummer show. A steady flow of welcoming refreshments as always, kept us all comfortable.

Our judge for the day, Mrs Beryl Phillips selected her winners from our supporting crowd and despite a very hot day and the World Cup Football enjoyed her exhibits.

During a short lunch break members were able to collect their Newsletter packed full of the latest news, and interesting items. An auction was also held : a painted picture called Miyun Bun-tee which was an item donated to the club from the late Mrs V Elsworths estate.

We look forward to seeing you all at our Charity Fun day to be held on 16th July at Lyneham Lake, Churchill Heath, Kingham, Oxfordshire OX7 6UJ commencing 1pm.
